As Tag1 Consulting's embedded design partner, I extended their brand across print, digital, and environmental formats, creating a flurry of deliverables.
Tag1 Consulting is a global Drupal development agency with 100+ team members across 20+ countries. They're known for solving complex technical challenges: performance, scalability, infrastructure, but their marketing materials didn't reflect that expertise.
They had recently redesigned their brand identity, but lacked internal design resources to extend it consistently across the formats they needed: conference materials, marketing collateral, web pages, and sales support.
How do you take a newly designed brand and make it work across every format a global agency needs — from ebooks to conference booths to elevator clings without a full-time designer on staff?
I embedded with Tag1 as their design partner, delivering brand extensions across print, digital, and environmental formats. Here's what I created:
Technical content for lead gen
DrupalCon Chicago 2026
Service overview collateral
Office environmental branding
Brand extensions on tag1.com
Team identity materials
Conference giveaway wraps
Presentations & materials
Tag1 produces technical content to establish thought leadership in the Drupal and infrastructure space. I designed three ebooks using two distinct visual motifs while maintaining brand consistency.

Tag1's biggest brand moment is DrupalCon, the industry's premier conference. I designed their complete booth presence including backdrop, charging station wraps, and supporting materials.

I extended the brand into Tag1's website, designing new pages and updating existing ones to reflect the refreshed identity and improve how they communicate their services.

By embedding as Tag1's design partner, I delivered consistent brand execution across every format they needed, without the overhead of a full-time hire.
This project reinforced the value of embedded design partnerships for agencies. They don't need a full-time designer. They need someone who can jump between formats, deliver fast, and maintain brand consistency without constant oversight.
Brand consistency doesn't come from rigid rules, it comes from understanding the core visual language well enough to adapt it across wildly different formats.
Dev agencies need design partners who can context-switch quickly. One day it's an ebook, the next it's a conference booth. That versatility is the value.
